Kensington Court, W8 was the destination for today’s professional window cleaning call-out.
Spick & Span Window Cleaning were contracted to carry out a post-builders window clean on behalf of a building company that had recently completed works in the street.
As part of their agreement with local residents, the building company committed to arranging a full external window clean once construction was finished. To meet this obligation, they contacted experienced Kensington window cleaners capable of handling heavily soiled and difficult-to-reach glazing.
Challenging post-construction cleaning
The windows were extremely dirty, with layers of construction dust and debris requiring a deep, professional clean. Access was also a major challenge, as many of the windows were located as high as the fourth storey.
Rather than using scaffolding — which had initially been suggested — Spick & Span Window Cleaning employed 60-foot carbon-fibre telescopic poles to safely reach the upper windows. High-quality bristle brushes provided the necessary scrubbing power to remove stubborn dirt.
Purified water was delivered via micro-bore hose directly to the brush heads, allowing the glass to be thoroughly scrubbed and rinsed. This method leaves windows clear, streak-free, and translucent once dry, with no residue left behind.
The improvement was immediately noticeable, and residents were delighted to finally enjoy clean windows following the completion of the building works.
The entire job was completed in approximately three hours.
