window cleaning project in Lewisham SE13 on behalf of a new client based
in Central London. The modern commercial unit featured very tall glass windows that required
ultra-deep cleaning both internally and externally, including frames.
The client needed the work completed urgently, as the unit was approaching its official
opening. Having just undergone extensive internal renovations, the property required a
meticulous post-build clean to ensure it was presented to the highest standard before handover.
Project Challenges
Due to scheduling constraints, the cleaning needed to be carried out in the
absence of the client. Spick & Span liaised with a neighbouring
property to collect and return the keys, meaning a high level of trust and professionalism

Externally, the windows were heavily soiled due to the property’s location on a busy arterial
road linking Deptford and Lewisham, combined with nearby railway traffic and ongoing local
construction works.
Internally, the glass panes and window sills were coated in thick dust and debris left behind
by builders following the installation of a wooden staircase and mezzanine floor.
