The apartment, situated on the fifth floor, is typical of the development in that it is largely enclosed by glass. While much of the building is maintained by in-house window cleaning teams, specialist external contractors are sometimes required to clean balcony glazing — areas that are difficult or impossible to reach using standard window cleaning cradles.
The scope of work
We cleaned the balcony glazing both internally and externally. Large, remote-controlled floor-to-ceiling glass doors provided access to the balcony, allowing our team to work safely outside. From this position, we were able to thoroughly scrub and break down the heavy build-up of dirt caused by London air pollution.
It was clear that previous attempts had been made to clean the glass, but these had been unsuccessful. Residual grease, detergent, and improper cleaning techniques had left the windows heavily smeared and marked, making the glass appear worse rather than better.

Using the correct cleaning solutions and specialist equipment — including telescopic poles, applicator pads, squeegees, and detailing cloths — we successfully removed all stubborn residues and restored the glass to a pristine, streak-free finish.
