The windows were located on the first floor of a double-fronted period property. In total, there were eight traditional sash windows, which, judging by their condition, had not been cleaned for a considerable time. The window frames in particular were heavily soiled and required a thorough scrub.
The property was being prepared for new tenants and required a visible improvement to both its internal light levels and external appearance. Located on a busy main road, the windows had accumulated significant dust and pollution, which restricted natural light and detracted from the property’s overall presentation.
All windows, including the frames, were thoroughly washed. As the clean progressed, the volume of dirt removed from both the glass and frames was immediately noticeable — as was the dramatic improvement once the work was complete.
The full clean took approximately one hour, including detailed scrubbing followed by a final rinse to achieve a high-shine, streak-free finish.

A key challenge on this call-out was that the windows were positioned above a basement area to which the client had no access.
